Either hand-sewing or machine-sewing works for making a bear this small. I generally use a bit of both -- usually whichever one is easier.Usually, these body pieces would be cut out before being sewn, but this technique makes everything quicker and easier.
But first you need to pin the two body pieces together. First be sure your fur is facing downward with edges showing below the backing. Next, place one piece on top of the other - FUR FACING FUR.
Begin by pinning the four corners. Then pin the center sections. Finally, pin the center of each of the body elements. This will prevent the fur from slipping when you sew the two pieces together.
REMEMBER THIS:
A blog posts everything in a sequence that is LAST to FIRST so it is always important to read the previous post before starting to work on the present one.
