This pattern is not a traditional style. It includes the ears which are usually sewn on after the head is finished. So, it is important to follow the directions carefully. The directions are for both versions of SNAPPY.With a head this small it is important to baste the pieces together -- perfectly matching each outline on both sides.
First, cut out the two head paper patterns and trace them onto the square of fur. Make sure the V arrow in the lower right-hand corner is pointing down and fur is showing below the bottom edge. Trace a left and right version of the head. Cut the fur into four pieces.
Next, baste the front and back head pieces together along the ear line. Then machine sew the pieces together. Carefully trim away the seam allowance -- about 1/8 inch.
NOTE: Be sure you have sewn a front and back together so that you have a right and left head profile.
